Dan Ehrie - ChairmanI am Daniel Ehrie. I have served on the Deacon Board for 9 years . Some of the committees I served on were Parking and Ordinance, which sets up communion and helps with baptism. I currently hold the office of Chairman of which I was elected by the Board for the last 6 years and am honored to hold this office. I have been involved with BFC church since I was about 6 yrs old attending the former Bethel BFC church on 8th st in Allentown as a Sunday school student and in the Christian Service Brigade until it’s merger with CCBFC. I have served in the Christian Service Brigade Program here as a Leader in Battalion, Tree Climbers Coordinator, Chief Ranger and Chairman. My wife and I taught 4/5 yr old Sunday school class for 10+yrs. My favorite verse is Col.3:23 “whatever you do ,do it as onto the Lord ,not unto men” . I accepted Christ at age 8 during a stockade meeting during my late teens and early 20's. I wasn’t living for the Lord as I was taught. Finally at age 26 the Lord took me to the place I needed to be in order to show me I cannot do things on my own but that I need to rely on Him. From that day on I have relied on Christ to lead mine daily life. |
