Whether this is your first foray into scripture or you have been studying God’s Word your whole life, you will gain wisdom, fellowship, and support in Ladies Bible Study. Women of all ages and stages come together to grow, use their spiritual gifts, and to promote strong relationship. Please come join us and warm your heart with God’s Word as we grow and learn together.
We meet 9-11 Tuesday mornings, September through May, with a break for the Christmas Holidays. Join us in the Chapel at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Ladies Bible Study is to systematically study through the entire Scriptures and to promote fellowship and support through prayer.
Vision Statement
The Vision of the Ladies Bible Study is:
· The consistent proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the purpose of salvation.
· The spiritual growth of women by providing an environment that promotes a) personal application, b) identifying, encouraging and utilizing spiritual gifts, and c) prayer.
· The encouragement and inter-action of women of all ages, regardless of chronological or spiritual maturity.
· The emphasis of a friendly atmosphere.
· The support and encouragement of additional women’s Bible studies at CCBFC.
Focus
Teaching:
We learn directly from God’s Word, the Bible. The teachers come directly from the body of LBS. The Scriptures are the main focus being taught through drama, lecture, debate, and discussion.
Prayer:
LBS strongly emphasizes prayer. We have a weekly prayer sheet , confidential for ladies eyes only. This sheet helps us pray directly for each woman’s needs. There is also a prayer team that prays for emergencies and confidential requests. This team consists of board members.
Table groups:
We strongly believe in the importance of each lady who attends LBS. We have developed small groups to build friendships, trust, and address any needs the ladies may have throughout the year.
Prayer and Share:
At the end of each semester we have a delicious brunch. Here the ladies share testimonies, praises, prayer requests, and lots of yummy food.
Organization:
God has blessed our group with a wonderful team of leaders. They meet to pray, address problems, organize teachers, and prepare for a great year of Bible study. The board consists of talented, dedicated, God fearing women focused on the growth and well being of LBS.
Nursery Provided:
There is a nursery for children of ages 0-3 and a special program called Tuesday’s Kids for ages 3-older.
Tuesday’s Kids is a great class where the children learn about God’s word fellowship, with other children, play games, and eat a snack.
Rides Provided:
If you are unable to drive or do not have transportation, we would like to help you get here. Please contact the church so we can connect you with a ride.
Inclement Weather:
Ladies Bible Study follows the same schedule as Lehigh Christian Academy. Listen to any one of the stations listed or check the Lehigh Christian Academy website. If Lehigh Christian Academy is closed, there will be no Bible Study. If Lehigh Christian Academy is delayed 1 hour, Bible Study will be delayed 1 hour. If the delay is more than 1 hour, the Bible Study is canceled.
